Born and raised in Florida. Iāve gotten used to the extreme humidity and found it quite good for your skin. Moving to Utah is great but not the dry air. Iāve lived in Utah for almost 8 years and I finally caved and bought this humidifier especially because it has auto-refill function where my S10 robot will automatically refill the water!
My condo usually has 15% humidity level. My skin sheds/flakes quite often and Iāve gotten to the point where I realized itās not just inconvenient but also quite gross.
Humidifier definitely helped with my skin and I have definitely noticed a huge improvement. Especially with my nostril. Itās so clear and I can easily breathe in my own home. Itās amazing. If youāre looking for a simple humidifier with auto-refill capability this is the one for you!
The light on top is a great resource to have! It shows you color based on the humidity condition so you know without having to look it up on the Hub 2 or your phone!
I do wish it has Matter/HomeKit capability so that I can control most functions in Apple Home app rather than just turn on/off in Home app.

SwitchBot does it again!
SwitchBot continues to make my life easier and easier. This humidifier was delivered during a particularly dry week around these parts. Outside humidity was in the mid-30% area at the high point, which made the inside humidity in the mid-20% range .After setting this humidifier up, the inside humidity was in the upper 30% range within about 4 hours. It took about another 8 hours to get the inside humidity up to my goal of 45%. Since our house is larger than the humidifier is designed for, it pretty much runs all the time to stay at the 45% area. But the humidity has not dropped below 35% since turning it on. Now, I did learn something when I first set up the humidifier that I will recommend to others. Do not place the humidifier on carpet. I did not have a leak or spill, but the robot vacuum could not back up to the connection point for refills. I eventually moved it to just outside our bedroom door onto hardwood floors. After re-marking the humidifier, it works beautifully. It takes a lot of trips to refill it and there is a bit more noise than I would like to hear while it refills. However, not having a move water around for refills is the best thing ever. Thanks SwitchBot, you keep making my life easier!!

Almost the best humidifier
The humidifier works well. It humidifies my entire space and I love its simplistic but functional design. The water refill and filter easy cleaning of the filter are probably my two favorite functions. My only complaint is that the humidifier has limited controls in HomeKit. I use HomeKit for all of my smart home needs and it sucks that I can only turn this humidifier on/off in the home app. It would be nice to (at a minimum) be able to change the fan speed, humidity/auto/sleep modes in the home app. I thought about returning it because of this lack of integration but Iām hoping SwitchBot will add more controls in the home app in the future. I would be happy to give this a five star rating if that were the case!

Once SwitchBot Evaporative Humidifier (Auto-refill) is connected to the S10, you can use the S10 to automatically supply water to the humidifier.
Since the S10 main unit and the water station use the same water supply tube, do not use the Evaporative Humidifier's auto-refill function when the water station is filled with cleaning solution. A small amount of cleaning solution may stick to the water supply tube, and during humidifier operation, this cleaning solution could mix in and be released into the air.
If you have already added cleaning solution to the S10 water station, please disable the auto-add solution feature in the SwitchBot App. Then, vacuum and wipe your floor once. You can use the auto-refill function safely after using all of the cleaning solutions mixed with clean water. Way to disable the auto-add solution: SwitchBot App -> Floor Cleaning Robot S10 -> Gear icon -> Maintenance -> disable the Auto-add Solution
